Initiated into hard landscaping straight from school in 1979, Lee Walpole was taught by the industry-leading professional at that time. In those days, the vast majority of work completed was crazy paving but unlike the traditional method, Lee was taught to lay every piece of paving with a spirit level. By the age of eighteen, he was able to lay a driveway ‘as flat as a snooker table’.

When brick paving and different materials came along in later years such as Granite and Sandstone, Lee took pride in being able to offer excellent designs and finishes for clients across the borough of Havering.

“I absolutely love what I do but am still in amazement at creating beautiful patios, and driveways. Every project has its own challenges so after all these years I am not bored. I aim to work as long as I am able.”
